MUSCAT: The International Basketball Federation has selected Omani international referee Issam al Siabi to officiate at the Under-17 World Cup in Mexico on July.
Al Siabi is considered one of the elite referees in Asia and has officiated many important matches in various Gulf championships and leagues.
It is worth noting that Issam obtained the international badge in 2014 and is considered one of the best referees at local, Gulf and Asian levels. He has officiated many finals at the local, Gulf and Asian league
levels. This selection comes after the Omani international referee's brilliance in officiating the Asian Cup matches and the World Cup qualifiers in Asia.
