Children with lanterns and flashlights lit up Nizwa to mark the Al Aqabah Night in Nizwa on Tuesday. It marked the midpoint of Ramadhan, serving as a symbolic bridge between the fasting period and the joyous celebration of Eid al Fitr. Families cherish this occasion as it signifies a milestone in their children's fasting journey, with the first half of Ramadhan being dedicated to fasting. Qaranqasho is part of the Al Aqabah Night when children roam around the neighbourhood dressed up in colourful traditional attire and carrying small bags or baskets, going from door to door in their neighbourhoods.
