TRA releases report performances on telecom companies in Al Amerat, Qurayat

Muscat: The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) has published a report on the quality of telecommunications services in the Wilayat of Qurayat and Al Amerat in Muscat, which was conducted in January

It was found that in the Wilayat of Qurayat, the average data download reached 193 Mbps for the Oman Telecommunications Company (Omantel) 5G network, and the average data upload speed reached 38 Mbps.

As for Ooredoo, the average data download speed was 294 Mbps for the 5G network, and the average data upload speed was 47 Mbps.

With Vodafone Oman, the average data download speed was 43 Mbps for the 5G, and the average data upload speed was 49 Mbps.

For Al Amerat, the average data download speed was 214 Mbps for the 5G network of Omantel, while the average data upload speed was 56 Mbps.

As Ooredoo, the average data download speed was 236 for the 5G network, and the average data upload speed was 54 Mbps.

For Vodafone Oman, the average data download speed was 129 Mbps for the same network, and the average data upload speed was 48 Mbps.

TRA conducts these surveys every month to improve telecommunications services.
