ASUNCIÓN: Santiago Peña, President of the Republic of Paraguay, received Talal bin Sulaiman al Rahbi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Federative Republic of Brazil who presented his credentials as Ambassador Extraordinary and Non-resident Plenipotentiary of the Sultanate of Oman to the Republic of Paraguay.
The ambassador conveyed the greetings of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to the president alongside his wishes of good health and long life to him and his wishes of further progress and prosperity for the friendly Paraguayan people.
The ambassador expressed the Sultanate of Oman’s keenness on fostering bilateral relations between the two countries and enhancing cooperation in various fields especially economy and investment to serve the joint interests of the two peoples.
The Paraguayan president asked the ambassador to pass on his greetings to His Majesty along with his wishes of good health and long life.
