Seeb take on Al Salam in Ministry Shield Final

Seeb Club defeated Majees 3-1 on Friday, in a semifinal match of Oman Ministry Volleyball Shield, at Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex in Bausher.


The match began in the first set evenly, where Seeb managed to take a two-point lead, but Majees returned to score a point, making the score 3-1. Seeb then scored four points while Majees scored two. The exchange of points continued between the two teams, with Majees eventually winning the first set 25-22.


Entering the second set, Seeb regained momentum and controlled the game better.


The intense competition continued in the third set, but Seeb showed resilience and outperformed their opponent, winning 26-24.


In the fourth and final set, Seeb maintained its momentum and confidently outperformed Majees, securing the win with a score of 25-20, thus qualifying for the final match.


This marks Seeb's second victory over Majees in less than a week, as they previously qualified for the final of the Omani First Division League last Wednesday.


Al Salam Defeats Oman


Additionally, Al Salam Club defeated Oman Club with a score of 3-2 on Friday at the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex in Bausher, in a semifinal match of the Oman Ministry Volleyball Shield.


Oman won the first set with a score of 25-23, and also won the second set with a score of 25-20.


However, Al Salam Club didn't back down and delivered a strong performance in the third set to win 25-20. The fourth set witnessed an exciting comeback as Al Salam Club turned the tables and won 26-24.


In the fifth set, Al Salam managed to dominate confidently, by winning with a score of 15-9, thus securing a place in the championship final.


With this result, Seeb will face Al Salam Club in the championship final next Wednesday. It's worth mentioning that Seeb Club has also qualified along with Al Salam Club for the final match of the First Division Volleyball League for this season, which will conclude this Monday.
