Muscat: Sayyid Badr bin Hamad al Busaidy, Foreign Minister, held consultations on bilateral relations and regional developments with Dr Hussein Amir Abdullahian, Iranian Minister of Foreign Affairs, on phone on Friday. The consultations focused on efforts to contain and stop the escalation in the region as a result of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, and achieving a ceasefire to allow relief and humanitarian needs and aid to enter the Strip. They affirmed solidarity with the Palestinian people in the fight for legitimate rights and comprehensive peace.
