The Global Shapers Muscat (GSM) Hub hosted the second session of the Meet The Leader series last week at Kadam Café in Muscat.

The session featured entrepreneur and chairperson of MHD ITICS, Lujaina Mohsin Haider Darwish.

During the session, she emphasszed the importance of staying focused on one's path and avoiding comparisons with others. She highlighted gratitude, family appreciation, and nurturing dreams as essential for maintaining enthusiasm and drive.

The event is part of the group’s efforts in connecting young professionals with established leaders in the community.

“The series bridges the gap between experienced professionals and aspiring individuals, creating a valuable link that enhances imperative skills such as communication, networking, and leadership. Held in an informal and intimate setting, the events ensure comfort and ease in exploring these topics, ultimately cultivating a supportive environment with valuable learning,” shared a member of GSM.

“This pilot marks the inception of a promising and beneficial series, and we are excited about the potential impact it holds for the personal and professional development of young professionals,” the member added.

Global Shapers is the youth arm of the World Economic Forum and hosts a network of young people working together to solve shared local and global challenges through the power of collaboration.

The community has over 455 hubs in 150 countries with over 10,500 members and 3,500+ alumni.
