MUSCAT: Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali al Harthy, Under-Secretary of the Foreign Ministry for Diplomatic Affairs received at the general Diwan of the ministry on Sunday Daniel Benaim, US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Arabian Peninsula Affairs.
The meeting discussed the repercussions of the Israeli war on Gaza and the efforts made to ceasefire.
The two sides also touched on cooperation between Oman and the US in various areas and means of developing them.
The meeting was attended by Ana Escrogima, Ambassador-designate of the United States of America to the Sultanate of Oman and a number of officials from both sides.
