MUSCAT: Vice Admiral Abdullah Khamis Al Raisi, Chief of Staff of the Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF), received in his office at Al Murtafa’a Garrison on Sunday Admiral Nicolas Vaujour, Chief of Staff of the French Navy and his accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed areas of cooperation and exchanged views on several matters of common concern.
The meeting was attended by Commodore Issa Salim Al Owaisi, Assistant Chief of Staff for Administration and Supply, a number of senior COSAF officers and the Military Attaché of the French embassy at Muscat.
Maj Gen Hamid Ahmed Sakroon, Chairman of the Academy for Strategic and Defence Studies also received in his office at Bait Al Falaj Garrison Admiral Nicolas Vaujour. During the meeting, the two sides discussed several military topics of mutual interest.
The meeting was attended by Brigadier Nasser Abdullah Al Qutabi, Head of the Centre for Strategic and Defence Studies at the Academy, Senior officers at the Academy and the Military Attaché of the French embassy at Muscat. - ONA
