Be undeceived by your deeds

Always remember, the evil you do remains with you, while the good you do, comes back to you!

How many times have you thought that life has never been fair to you? Perhaps, you have had this belief for certain reasons, some of which could be unreasonable. However, make sure it is not life, but people are not being fair to each other. It is not life that should be blamed for what happens to you, but yourself and others whom you interact with. This is because human beings are being injustice and disrespectful to one another. Therefore, they receive what they have been doing to others in return for their own deeds.

All what you need to remember is that life is just an echo and what you send out, comes back in one way or the other. What you plant, you harvest, what you give, you get and what you see in others, it exists in you. Hence, you should always give goodness, so you get back the same; otherwise, it is the vice versa. Whatever you perform in your daily life, whether good or bad, you must certainly bear the fruits of the same. Sooner or later, you will get it back.

This is the rule of life when it comes to dealing with other people around you. You should comply with the principle of treating people like how you would like to be treated by others. In fact, it is important for all to understand that we are the reason behind what happens to us. Let’s think of when we go to work everyday; who decides on the type and colour of clothes to wear, which way to take, what drink to have?! It is our decision of course.

Similarly, every action we take is decided by us and hence the result will also be faced by us! Nobody shall say that I’ve not done injustice to anyone then why I am facing such an awful incident? Your deeds are just like a ball, once thrown will hit the wall and then comes back to you. It is just a matter of time for this ball to travel and comes back. Sometimes, it comes back immediately while sometimes it takes hours, months or even years.

This reminds us of an old story of that woman who used to bake bread and gives one to the hunchback man who passes by her house. As this went on over days, the woman got irritated of this man who did not show any kind of gratitude to her. All what he got to say after taking the bread was "The evil you do remains with you. The good you do, comes back to you!". This provoked the woman’s curiosity.

Therefore, the woman decided to get rid of him and she added poison to the bread she prepared for him. Luckily, she changed her mind and did not give him that bread; rather she burned it. The hunchback man passed as usual picking up the bread. Suddenly, he got an exhausted and starving man asking for food and he gave him the bread. That man was the woman’s son who came back to his mother on that day after years of disappearance.

The son thankfully told his mother about the hunchback man saving him with the bread, which he gave it to him. The mother was shocked to hear that as she was intending to poison the hunchback man and get rid of him. If she had given the poisoned bread to the hunchback, she could have gotten what she did as her son would eat that piece of bread. The revenge could have happened on her son immediately!

Always remember, the evil you do remains with you, while the good you do, comes back to you! Thus, keep doing the good deeds that bring back fruitful outcomes to you.
