Muscat: HH Sheikh Mishal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, Emir of the State of Kuwait will pay a state visit to the Sultanate of Oman after tomorrow (Tuesday).
This was stated in a statement issued by the Diwan of Royal Court today, reading as follows:
“In embodiment of the advanced ties between the Sultanate of Oman and the State of Kuwait, and in affirmation of cooperation between them in various spheres and levels, HH Sheikh Mishal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, Emir of the State of Kuwait will pay a two-day state visit to the Sultanate of Oman, starting from Tuesday, 6 February 2024. The visit will explore a range of fields and topics of mutual interest in a manner that contributes in achieving aspirations of the two countries towards a more prosperous future. The Emir of Kuwait will attend alongside His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik the opening of Duqm Refinery and Petrochemical Industries on Wednesday, 7 February 2024. The opening of the refinery culminates the advanced relations particularly those pertaining to fruitful economic cooperation between the two countries.
May the Almighty Allah grant success to His Majesty the Sultan and the Emir of Kuwait for the good of their countries, peoples and the Arab and Islamic nations”.
