Muscat: The Embassy of India in Muscat celebrated the 75th Republic Day with a flag unfurling ceremony on the morning of January 26, 2024.


Amit Narang, Ambassador of India to the Sultanate of Oman unfurled the National flag in the presence of over 500 participants, including members of the Indian community and guests.


The morning started with a floral tribute at the Gandhi Statue within the Embassy by Ambassador Amit Narang and Ms. Divya Narang, the spouse of the Ambassador.


Following this, the National Flag was unfurled, and the students of Indian School Bousher sang the national anthem.


The ambassador read out excerpts from the President of India's address to the nation on the eve of the Republic Day.


The event concluded with students from Indian School Bousher performing two patriotic songs.
