RAKHYOUT: The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology officially opened the Wadi Afoul bridge in the Wilayat of Rakhyout in Dhofar Governorate. The project costs RO 3.2 million. The project involves the paving of 1,300 km and construction of a 300-metre concrete bridge with a height of 19 metres. This is in addition to excavation works, side protections and the construction of retaining walls. It is noteworthy that the project aims to safely connect the existing road through Wadi Afoul after it was damaged by recent floods. It is in line with the tourism and strategic trends undertaken by Dhofar Governorate. — ONA
