Muscat: The Omani Chartered Accountant Initiative was launched on the sidelines of the Oman-India Investment Forum on Saturday.
In cooperation with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in India, the initiative aims to qualify young Omanis in the field of legal accounting to support various sectors, especially the business sector, with precise specialization, which is essential in supporting decision-making and the sustainability of institutions.

The initiative includes implementing a program for teaching Omanis after obtaining a General Education Diploma, as the program qualifies
those registered to obtain an internationally certified public accountant certificate in cooperation with the competent authorities.
The Forum focused on exchanging knowledge and discussing trade policies related to customs tariffs, and measures to facilitate cross-border trade to create an environment conducive for investment.
