The Telugu community in Oman celebrated 'Sankranti Sambaralu' in Muscat last week at Al Falaj Hotel, in the presence of veteran actor Dr Murali Mohan.


The event was orchestrated through a collaboration between Royal King Holding, represented by Renny Johnson and Prasanth Goud, and Chiru Mega Youth Force (Telugu Community of Oman), represented by Ramdas Chandaka along with his team members.


The Chiru Mega Youth Force Muscat (CMYF), a Telugu social group in Oman, is a non-profit organisation engaged in humanitarian activities in the Sultanate of Oman, providing social services. CMYF has organised numerous blood donation camps at the Bausher Blood Bank, and has received awards from the Ministry of Health.

An impressive turnout of over 1,200 people attended the cultural celebration, where Dr Murali Mohan honoured blood donors and volunteers.


Tollywood actresses Ester Valerie Noronha, Latha Chowdary, Rajitha, Madhumani, Pinky, Swarna Latha, and Sonia Chowdary, along with singers and the D-Dance team, entertained the audiences. Singers Hanuman, Swati Satyabhama and Mounika Yadav sang various film songs, while the famous comedy track by 'Jabardast' Sudhakar mesmerised the audience.


The D-Dance team, led by Govind, showcased an extraordinary dance performances, and the event was skillfully anchored by Madhavi Reddy.


Ventriloquist M S R Naidu from Andhra Pradesh delighted both children and adults with his performance.
