

MUSCAT: Hotel revenues classified as 3 to 5 stars in the Sultanate of Oman reached approximately RO 204.187 million by end of November 2023, compared to RO 161.262,000 million by end of November 2022, with an increase of 26.6% according to statistics released by the National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI).
The total number of hotel guests also increased by 30.3% to reach 1,883,993 guests by the end of November 2023, compared to 1,446,189 guests in the same period of 2022, while the occupancy rate increased by 9%.
The statistics showed that the number of Omani guests reached 716,585, an increase of 11.3%, while the number of Gulf guests also increased by 27.9% to reach 185,671. The number of European guests increased by 47.1% to reach 447,033.
The statistics indicate that the number of American guests reached 52,021, while the number of African guests reached 10,588, with a growth rate of 35.6%. The number of Asian guests increased by 41.8% to reach 270,320, and the number of Oceanian guests reached 40,188, with an increase of 165.4%. — ONA
