MUSCAT: Oman's Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr bin Hamad al Busaidy, received a phone call from Dr Fuad Hussein, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of the Republic of Iraq on Friday. The ministers discussed the disturbing developments and dangerous escalation in the Red Sea region and Yemen.
They agreed on the importance of restraint and not expanding the circle of conflict in the region. They also agreed on the importance of addressing the causes of the conflict, starting with stopping the Israeli aggression and the siege imposed on the Gaza Strip.
