'Here we come' and 'One Voice' campaigns to support Red Warriors

The Oman Football Association (OFA) has launched the national campaign 'Here we come' to support the Red Warriors at the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023. The launching of the campaign was inline to the national team arrival in Doha city for the Asian showdown.


The campaign reflects the national team’s high hopes in this top Asian event and possibility of the selected squad by the Croatian coach Branko Ivankovic to reach in the further knockout stages of the tournament.


On the other hand, the Oman Journalists Association (OJA) launched their media campaign titled 'One Voice' to support the national team. The launching function took place on Tuesday at the headquarters of the OJA in Muscat in presence of Mohsin al Masrouri, Vice-Chairman of OFA, Mohammed al Yahmadi, Executive Director of OFA, Dr Mohammed al Oraimi, Chairman of OJA, besides attendance of former national team players and media representatives.


Salim al Jahwari, Vice-Chairman of OJA and Head of Sports Committee, delivered a speech during the event. He said this activity is part of the OJA’s support towards the national team in the Asian campaign. “We would like from all the media entities in the Sultanate of Oman to align all the support for the national team in this significant participation. We need to write supportive articles, news and tweet positive news that will encourage the national team players to make an outstanding show in this event,” he said.


Mohammed al Yahmadi, Executive Director of OFA, thanked the OJA’s initiatives towards supporting Oman football team in this crucial championship. “We launched our national campaign few days ago and we are pleased to see this media campaign. All these initiatives are positive tools to support Red Warriors in this important participation at the Asian event.”


Then, Fadhil al Mazroui, member in the sports media committee, presented his experience as former media coordinator in the national team. He highlighted to the participants on their follow up with the national team media focal point to know the exact timing of the training sessions and press conferences.


Later, Dr Ibrahim al Mayahi, certified technical analyser, presented the importance of the technical analysis by the coaching staff. “It is very essential nowadays that each coaching staff should have at least one analyser who will be entitled to do a proper technical analysis in order to have impressive show in the matches,” he said.


At the end, all the participants in the function signed in the big board and took some group photos.
