Duqm - A three-star Royal Plaza Hotel opened its doors on Wednesday in the Special Economic Zone at Duqm (SEZAD).


The opening ceremony was attended by Sheikh Ahmed bin Muslim al Kathiri, Governor of Al Wusta, and several representatives of public and private institutions in the region.


Apart from two restaurants, two prayer rooms, a fitness center, a swimming pool, a business center, a contemporary cafe, a banquet hall, and meeting and conference facilities, Royal Plaza Hotel has 68 rooms, divided into 26 standard rooms, 14 private suites with two rooms, a lounge, three toilets and a kitchen, and six large standard suites


with a room, a lounge, a kitchen, and a toilet.


The Hotel was built on a total area of approximately 5,600 square meters and was opened to meet the needs of Duqm’s hospitality sector.
