Muscat: B K Shivani, a world renowned motivational speaker, will be speaking at an event titled, ‘Let’s Heal our World’ coinciding with Oman Environment Day that is marked on January 8th every year.
The talk will be held on 11th January 2024 at 6 pm at Fraser Suites Muscat, organised by Rajayoga Oman.
B K Shivani is a globally recognised teacher, known for her inspirational talks. With a vast following and a profound impact on people's lives, B K Shivani's insights offer a unique perspective on various life lessons.
B K Shivani is a practitioner of Rajyoga Meditation of the Brahma Kumaris for over 25 years. Her practical application of the principles on the TV programme 'Awakening With Brahma Kumaris', for over 15 years has empowered people to overcome issues of emotional distress, depression and relationship conflicts.
In March 2019, she was awarded the prestigious Nari Shakti Puraskaar, the highest civilian honour for women in India, for her role in transforming human behaviours. Since 2017 she has been appointed as Goodwill Ambassador by the World Psychiatrist Association. She is an electronics engineer from Pune University.
In Oman, training programmes, workshops and seminars in various ministries, hospitals, Nursing Institutes and private companies as a service to the community have been conducted.
Their participation as included in various socially important events of Oman, such as 'Oman Environmental Day', International Women’s Day, UN International Day of Peace, UN International Day of Non-Violence.
