Muscat: In a remarkable stride to enhance tourist sites in the Sultanate of Oman, the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism (MHT) inaugurated on Tuesday a tourism hub at Muttrah Waterfront in the Governorate of Muscat.

Nonetheless, the Sultanate has taken steps to boost the tourist sector as the Sultanate features a lengthy coastline with clean beaches, lovely mountains, and some of the greatest deserts in the world with undulating dunes.

The initiative stems from the ministry’s keenness to offer accessible and reachable information for foreign tourists, who would like to delve into unforgettable tours.

The newly-inaugurated centre is expected to contribute to introducing visitors to key heritage and tourist destinations, responding to tourism-related inquiries and highlighting services offered by the private sector, including hotels, tour operators and travel agencies.
