Muscat: The Muscat Municipality has floated a tender for consultancy services to develop and design Wadi al Mayh Road, which connects Wilayat Al Amerat with the Yiti area.

This project is one of the most important routes as it serves the villages located on Wadi Mayh Road that are often affected by climatic conditions.

The design includes necessary protections to ensure the safety of the road from flowing wadis by constructing proper water drainage systems.

The project will help explore tourism and business opportunities in the region.

Wadi Mayh, located in Wilayat of Al Amerat, is home to many archaeological sites and the western part of the valley is guarded by a mountain range with many layers of rock from different geological periods.

The last date for the sale of tender documents is January 13, while the last date to submit a bid is January 30.
