MUSCAT: The office of the Deputy Governor of Al Buraimi attended the signing of a financing agreement between the Ministry of Health (MoH), represented by the Directorate General of Health Services in the Al Buraimi Governorate, and Al Buraimi University College.
This agreement aims to finance a health project for the benefit of the health center in Al Rawdah in the Wilayat of Mahdah.
According to the terms of the agreement, Al Buraimi University College will provide a comprehensive hematology analyzer for the Al Rawdah Healthcare Center, adhering to specifications approved by the Ministry of Health.
Shaikh Dr Hilal al Hatmi, Deputy Governor, emphasized that the agreement reflects the commitment to sustainable cooperation and partnership between the public and private sectors. It also underscores the social responsibility of both entities in supporting and enhancing the healthcare services system provided by the Ministry of Health.
Sheikh Dr Hilal added that the agreement signing aligns with the action plan of the Deputy Governor's office for Al Rawdah in 2023. The plan aims to develop the healthcare sector, meet the aspirations of the residents, and activate the contribution of the private sector in improving various service sectors, including healthcare and education.
The signing ceremony was attended by Dr Majid bin Rashid al Maqbali, the Director General of Health Services in the Al Buraimi Governorate, and Shaikh Ahmed bin Nasser al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Al Buraimi University College's Board of Directors.
