MUSCAT: Dr Said bin Mohammed al Saqri, Minister of Economy, received in his office on Wednesday Dr Martin Kocher, Federal Minister of Labour and Economy of the Republic of Austria and his accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed means of boosting mutual cooperation and relations. They also stressed the importance of exerting efforts to enhance economic and social integration between the two countries.
Meanwhile, Eng Said bin Hamoud al Maawali, Minister of Transport, Communications and Information Technology also received the Austrian Minister of Labour and Economy.
During this meeting, the two ministers explored means of boosting relations in areas of common interest. They also reviewed mutual cooperation in sectors related to transport, communications and information technology.
Moreover, Mohsin bin Hamad bin Saif al Hadhrami, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Energy and Minerals met on Wednesday with the Austrian official and his accompanying delegation.
Al Hadhrami underscored the importance of augmenting trade exchange and joint investment opportunities, especially in areas of clean energy and green hydrogen.
