MUSCAT: Qais bin Mohammad al Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, received yesterday at the Invest in Oman headquarters, Dr Martin Kocher, Minister of Labour and Economy of the Republic of Austria, and his accompanying delegation, who is currently visiting the Sultanate of Oman.
During the meeting, ways to enhance joint cooperation and develop bilateral relations between the two friendly countries in the fields of trade, industry and investment promotion to increase trade exchange between them were discussed.
The meeting was attended by Pankaj Khimji, Advisor for Foreign Trade and International Cooperation at the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Investment Promotion, and a number of officials from both sides.
Dr Martin Kocher and his accompanying delegation toured the Invest in Oman hall, during which he learned about the most important services and facilities that the lounge provides to the investor wishing to invest in the Sultanate of Oman, the investment mechanism and the entities associated with it, the capabilities and information it provides to investors, and the most prominent opportunities. During the visit, a visual presentation was presented on the most prominent components of the investment, tourism and economic environment in the Sultanate of Oman, and an introduction to economic developments, investment laws and facilities provided by the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion to investors in various sectors. — ONA
