Oman mourns Kuwait Emir's demise, work to be suspended

Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has issued royal orders to declare official mourning, lower flags, and suspend work in the government and private sectors for 3 days, starting today, Saturday, December 16 following the death of Sheikh Nawaf al Ahmad al Jabar al Sabah, Emir of the State of Kuwait.


Work will resume on December 19.
