MUSANDAM: A meeting was held on Sunday morning between Ibrahim bin Said al Busaidi, Governor of Musandam, and Dr Mansour bin Talib al Hinai, Chairman of the Authority for Public Services Regulation (APSR). The meeting focused on the most recent developments, projects, and programs related to water and sanitation in Musandam Governorate. Both sides sought to identify suitable mechanisms to address challenges in this sector while adhering to the highest technological standards.


The implementation of the non-treated wastewater services expansion project in Governorate, carried out by Nama Water Services Company, was discussed in detail. The company presented the project's primary objectives, anticipated outcomes, and the most significant challenges encountered. They also proposed appropriate solutions aligned with global advancements in this field.


Additionally, the company outlined the procedures for handling customer complaints and the efforts undertaken to monitor water quality and provide comprehensive services within the governorate, all in accordance with established regulatory frameworks.


The meeting also delved into APSR's endeavours and clarified its regulatory role in overseeing the performance of companies in accordance with their assigned responsibilities.
