Plans afoot for Qurum Commercial District facelift

MUSCAT: Sayyid Saud bin Hilal al Busaidy, Governor of Muscat, recently held a meeting to revitalise the Qurum Commercial District as a vibrant shopping destination as in the 1980s. Ahmed bin Mohammed al Humaidi, Muscat Municipality Chairman was present at the meeting that reviewed plans to develop the Qurum Commercial District as a shopping and hotspot with the addition of new services and facilities. New measures will include introducing green cover to the areas and offering opportunities for small and medium enterprises in the fields of retail trade, food, cafes, and other entertainment, shopping and event services.
