On November 28th, the Ministry of Labor, represented by the General Directorate of Labor in the Governorate of Muscat, disclosed the availability of 101 job openings within the Wage Support Initiative. This initiative is targeted at individuals who are entering the job market for the first time. The opportunities span various private sector organizations.

These positions are accessible to individuals holding university degrees, general education diplomas, and diplomas beyond secondary education.

The primary goal of the Wage Support Initiative is to assist private sector entities and incentivize them to hire Omani citizens. Under this initiative, salary support will be provided to these newly employed individuals for a period of two years, amounting to RO 200. The employer is responsible for covering the agreed-upon salary difference. Employment is anticipated to continue for a minimum of four years, aligning with the government support period.
