Salalah: Salalah, the captivating capital of Dhofar Governorate, unveiled its doors to the first-ever charter flights from Hungary, marking a momentous occasion in Oman’s tourism sector.


The inaugural flight, carrying 189 eager tourists, touched down at Salalah Airport on Friday, signalling the commencement of a series of weekly direct flights during the winter tourism season.


This groundbreaking development stems from the synergetic efforts of the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism and its esteemed partners in the tourism industry, aligning with the ministry’s vision to elevate Oman’s global tourism presence.
