Muscat: The Environment Authority started transforming the cultivation of mangrove trees from traditional cultivation towards investment farming through a mega project codenamed “Oman Blue Carbon”.
The project is considered the first-of-its-kind in the region. It will work on the reclamation of non-humid soil and planting 100 million mangrove trees.
