OQ supports women's association in Bukha

Muscat: OQ signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for supporting the Omani Women’s Association at the Wilayat of Bukha in Musandam Governorate.

This step was taken with the objective of empowering members of the association and honing their skills in many fields that serve society as part of OQ’s community partnership initiative and its social investment program adopted to enhance the role played by Omani women in society.

The MoU was signed by Sheikh Dr. Saif bin Mohamed Al-Ghaith, Wali of Bukha and Head of the Social Development Committee in the Wilayat; and Engineer Ahmed bin Said Al-Azkawi, Chief Executive of Upstream at OQ Group. The pact aims to enhance the roles played by managers of the Omani Women’s Association at the Wilayat of Bukha and enable the association to perform its role in serving society in a better way by providing its members with skills that qualify them to perform many tasks carried out by the association.
