The Oman Charitable Organisation (OCO) said it ensured that relief aid bound for the State of Palestine reaches its beneficiaries.

Responding to concerns raised in social media, OCO said it directly supervises all the projects it implements in the State of Palestine through its representative offices in the cities of Jerusalem and Gaza and in direct coordination with the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Ramallah.

OCO also ensures that all donations reach those who deserve it.

OCO has been implementing many projects in Palestine, such as schools, hospitals, colleges, homes, health laboratories, and others. Recently, the organisation handed over to the Afghan Red Crescent in Afghanistan around 88 tonnes of various relief and medical aid in the wake of the damage they sustained from the recent earthquakes.

The organisation recently launched donation platforms for the benefit of the Palestinian people.

Various methods to make donations include 'Donate' via ONEIC automated payment machines or bank transfers - Bank Muscat (0423010869610013) and Oman Arab Bank (3101006200500).

Omantel users can send the word “donate” to 90022, while Ooredoo users can send the word 'Palestine' to 90909. OCA also said that donations are possible via www.jood.om or www.oco.org.om.
