MUSCAT: The Oman Book Lovers Club (OBLC) took part in the EduTrac Oman - Education, Training & Career Expo, held from October 22 to 24. OBLC’s dedicated team enhanced the expo experience by hosting an engaging booth and insightful panel discussions.

At EduTrac Expo 2023, OBLC hosted a reading corner and engaging panel discussions to connect with readers and raise awareness about their library. The booth attracted visitors from all walks of life, and the presence of calligrapher Mohammed al Rawahi added artistic flair to the event.

The highlight of the Expo was the panel discussions. The first, ‘Writing as a Career,’ featured fiction author Vaishali Hamlai and fantasy novelist Ammar al Naaimi, discussing the evolving landscape of writing professions.

The second panel, ‘How Important Reading is for Teens?’ highlighted the significance of reading in a teenager’s life, with insights from Divya Narang, Mohammed al Rawahi, and Haylie Saunders.

OBLC’s active role in promoting literature and education was evident at EduTrac Oman Expo, aligning with Oman’s vision for a knowledge-based society. Their engagement showcased the cultural wealth and importance of reading in Oman.

In partnership with EduTrac Oman Expo, OBLC reaffirmed its commitment to education, literature, and the enrichment of Omani society. EduTraC Oman is a yearly international trade fair for higher education, training, and career development, providing a platform for students, graduates, and HR professionals to network and explore career opportunities.
