Salalah: The Defence Ministry’s Engineering Services deployed a force to lend technical and engineering support to Dhofar Governorate due to the tropical condition “Tej”.
The force is acting in coordination with the National Committee for Emergency Management (NCEM) to help determine the necessary preparations and measures to deal with the tropical condition.
The force will operate alongside other wings of the Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF), government units and other sectors to provide prompt response in potential areas whenever the need arises.
