ROP to suspend ID card issuance during Shura Council election

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) on Tuesday said the issuance, renewal, or replacement of the ID card will be suspended on Sunday, October 22 and October 29, 2023, coinciding with the voting date for the elections of members of the Shura Council for the tenth term.


​​​​​​​The issuance of the passport, birth and death certificates, and residence card will continue as usual.
