Muscat: Sayyid Badr bin Hamad al Busaidy, Foreign Minister, received a phone call from Ayman Safadi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Jordan on Friday. They discussed regional and international efforts made to stop the escalation of violence, and the importance of protecting civilians from the repercussions of the current crisis between Israel and the Palestinians in Gaza. The two ministers stressed the importance of resorting to political solution based on the rules of international law and the right to self-determination.
