Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman congratulated Morocco, Portugal and Spain on winning the bid to host FIFA World Cup 2030.
Oman also congratulated Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay on obtaining opportunities to host the first matches of the tournament on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the World Cup tournament (Centenary Celebration Matches).
In a statement issued on Thursday by the Foreign Ministry, Oman expressed its sincere wishes for the success of the global event. It voiced the confidence that, by staging the games, the six countries would realize an outstanding edition of the international tournament.
