

Muscat: Gen Sultan bin Mohammed al Numani, Minister of the Royal Office, received Air Vice Marshal Ibrahim bin Nasser al Alawi, Commander of the Air Force and Air Defense of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and his accompanying delegation. Al Alawi expressed his appreciation for the Sultanate of Oman’s efforts in enhancing mutual cooperation. During the meeting, they discussed several matters of mutual interest. They also reviewed regional and international matters of common concern. The meeting was attended by the Commander of the Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO).
Vice Admiral Abdullah bin Khamis al Raisi, Chief of Staff of the Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF), received in his office Air Vice Marshal Al Alawi and his delegation. The guest was accompanied by Air Vice Marshal Khamis bin Hammad al Ghafri, Commander of the Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO). During the meeting, they exchanged views on several military matters of common interest. The meeting was attended by Brigadier Hamed bin Abdullah al Balushi, SAF Assistant Chief of Staff for Operations and Planning and a number of senior COSAF officers.
Air Vice Marshal Al Alawi and the UAE delegation visited the Military Technological College (MTC). During the visit, the guest was accompanied by Air Vice Marshal Al Ghafri. Upon their arrival, the guests were received by Air Commodore Mohammed bin Aziz al Siabi, Commandant of the MTC. The members of the visiting delegation were briefed on the college and they toured various facilities of the MTC.
Air Vice Marshal Al Alawi and his accompanying delegation, also visited the Maritime Security Centre (MSC). During the visit, the guest was accompanied by Air Vice Marshal Al Ghafri. Upon the delegation's arrival at the centre, they were greeted by Commodore Adil bin Hamoud al Busaidy, Head of the MSC. Members of the visiting delegation were briefed on the tactical roles and tasks carried out by the centre in the safety of the maritime environment. They also toured the centre’s facilities and viewed its latest equipment and technologies used in carrying out its national duties. — ONA
