MUSCAT: The joint Oman-Bahrain military drill 'Arabian Leopard 5' concluded on Wednesday.
The exercise was participated by the Royal Army of Oman (RAO) alongside units of Bahrain’s Defence Force.
The exercise took place at the training zone in Al Jabal Al Akhdar (the Green Mountain).
Moreover, the exercise came within the context of RAO’s training plan to sustain the preparedness of its personnel.
Meanwhile, Maj Gen Mattar Salim al Balushi, Commander of the Royal Army of Oman (RAO) received Brigadier Hassan Ali al Nuaimi, Deputy Commander of the Royal Special Force of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and his accompanying delegation.
This comes within the framework of the guest’s visit to attend the live demonstration of the joint Oman-Bahrain military drill 'Arabian Leopard 5'.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed several military matters of mutual interest.
The meeting was attended by Brigadier Ahmed Suleiman al Badi, Director General of Operations and Intelligence at the RAO. - ONA
