K Madhu, acclaimed director, will be the chief guest of 'Layam 2023' cultural event by Haripad Kootayma to be held on October 6 at Al Falaj Hotel.
Acclaimed of being the director for five sequels of a film which include Oru CBI Diarykkuripp (1988), Jagratha (1989), Sethurama Iyer CBI (2004), Nerariyan CBI (2005), and CBI 5: The Brain (2022) which form the five parts of the CBI series.
Speaking to media, the organisers of the Haripad Kootayma said that a plethora of socio-cultural events awaits the audience.
"The main attraction of the three-hour musical evening will be a music concert led by renowned playback singer Vidhu Prathap and his team. Apart from that, various art programmes presented by group artistes are in store," the organisers informed.
Haripad community, a group of Haripad residents of Kartha taluk of Alappuzha district, was formed in 2013 and has been active in the field of philanthropy and social work. The Haripad Association, now in its 10th year, has grown in its chosen path by extending a helping hand to the society all this while.
"In 2018, we were able to lend a helping hand to those affected by the unexpected floods in the state. It is also worth mentioning that the leadership of the association has been at the forefront of providing necessary assistance to the people who experienced difficulties during Covid-19 pandemic in Oman," the organisers said.
