AL JABAL AL AKHDHAR: An Omani-Tunisian Olive Forum was held in the Wilayat of Al Jabal Al Akhdhar on Thursday under the auspices of Shaikh Hilal Said al Hajri, Governor of Al Dakhiliyah.
The forum was organised by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources, in cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Tunisia in the Sultanate of Oman.
The forum was aimed at exchanging expertise and exploring investment in the cultivation of different types of olive trees. It provided an opportunity to display various olive oil products and enhance cooperation in the olive oil industry.
Both sides presented working papers on the efforts they made to develop olive cultivation and olive oil production. - ONA
