Salalah: The Ministry of Health on Thursday signed an agreement to provide training for Dhofar University’s College of Medicine students. The training courses take place at Sultan Qaboos Hospital in Salalah and at Nizwa Hospital.

The agreement was signed by Dr Hilal Ali al Sabti, Minister of Health, and Yousef Alawi al Ibrahim, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Dhofar University.

The agreement lends support to Dhofar University’s College of Medicine students, offering them opportunities to gain practical and applied knowledge in their field of specialization. Besides rationalizing the efficiency and performance of those students, this approach will help accomplish the ministry’s goals of developing human resources in health fields.
