Salalah - Jibjat, a village in the Wilayat of Taqah in Dhofar Governorate, is transformed into a picturesque locale in the aftermath of the khareef. This delightful village can be reached by road from either Salalah (via the Al-San road) or from Taqah (take the Madinat Al-Haq road.) The tourist season in Jibjat peaks during the serab (post-khareef) season when the weather is cooler, and the green landscapes are at their lushest.
The village is known for its expansive greenery, but it is also home to a number of historical and cultural landmarks, offering activities such as hiking, camping, bird watching, and exploring traditional Omani villages. Telecommunications companies have installed additional cell towers due to the high number of network users, drawn by visitors from different areas of the province.
