Muscat: The Consumer Protection Authority (CPA) seized over 4,580 banned goods, including cosmetic and medical products that can only be dispensed with a medical prescription.
According to CPA, some of the other items are prohibited from being displayed or marketed due to their non-compliance with specifications, standards, and safety requirements.
In a statement, the Authority noted that they found these beauty products in two commercial centers and their warehouses in Dhofar Governorate.
