

Muscat: The Dakhiliyah Governorate is inviting bids for developing an integrated Nizwa station for public transport buses and taxis.
The scope of the project includes design, construction, financing, operation, and transfer of assets.
To be spread over 11, 412 sqm, the investment period for the project is 50 years.
The Governor's Office in Dhakilyah signed a memorandum of understanding Mwasalat for an integrated hub for buses and taxis in the Wilayat of Nizwa in 2022.
The agreement was signed by Shaikh Hilal bin Saeed at Hajri, the Governor of Al Dakhiliyah, and Badr bin Mohammed at Nadabi, acting CEO of Mwasalat.
The agreement included exchanging information, studies, and research for the Integrated One Stop Station for buses and taxis, including the economic viability of the project.
The project includes a bus station for transportation within the city and inter-city, a waiting station for passengers, taxis with shaded parking, public parking, and various commercial activities that create job opportunities for the people of the governoratE
After the completion of this project, Mwasalat will provide integrated, sustainable, efficient, safe, and technologically advanced transportation services in the Wilayat o Nizwa.
