SALALAH: The Sultanate of Oman hosted the second regular session of the Executive Office of the Gulf Organisation for Industrial Consulting (GOIC) on Sunday, August 6, 2023. The meeting was chaired by Dr. Saleh bin Saeed Masan, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion for Trade and Industry.

The meeting discussed a number of topics, including the review of GOIC's strategy for the period 2024-2028. Under this strategy, GOIC is working to complete 72 industrial projects for the member states and the General Secretariat of the GCC.

The meeting also approved the minutes of the first regular session of the Executive Office of GOIC in 2023, as well as the implementation of the decisions of that meeting. The report of the financial auditors for 2022 was also approved, as was the proposed estimated budget for 2023.

GOIC's strategy reflects global and local variables, as well as the renewed strategic directions in the industrial strategies of the member countries and the General Secretariat of the GCC. The organization's vision is to be a "Gulf House of Expertise" with a focus on providing high-quality consulting services in the fields of industrial development, economic information, and market requirements.

GOIC is the first Gulf expertise house specialized in providing industrial advisory services in the GCC countries. The organization provides high-quality consulting services through distinguished competencies and expertise, as well as regional and international strategic cooperation. GOIC also supports the activities of the targeted industrial sectors in the future for member countries, and addresses industrial and economic development issues in the GCC countries.
