In a testament to its growing prominence, this year's projected visitors to the Dhofar Governorate is set to swell to a staggering 1.1 million, accompanied by a projected spending spree, tipping the scales at RO 116 million.
A remarkable 37 per cent leap from the previous year, this surge is supported by reliable data furnished by aviation authorities and airlines, attesting to an exponential 99 per cent surge in scheduled flights from the Gulf countries to Salalah, further buttressed by a substantial 40 per cent hike in domestic flights.
