MUSCAT: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) on Tuesday completed the recruitment procedures for a new group of male and female nationals having the general education diploma (GED) certificate who passed all evaluation stages. The step comes as a continuation to efforts undertaken by ROP in coordination with the Ministry of Labour to employ Omani youth as per a plan approved by the ROP general command with the aim of supplying various police units with manpower in line with the expansion the ROP is witnessing. The new batch of police recruits headed to the Sultan Qaboos Academy for Police Sciences where they will receive training and academic studies at specialised institutes.
