Muscat: Work on the development of the Ain Al Thowarah hot springs near Nakhal in South Batinah is nearly 40 percent complete.

According to the Ministry of Regional Municipalities and Water Resources in South Batinah, Ain Al Thowarah is one of the important projects undertaken in the region as per the

Vision 2040 strategy.

A number of local and international visit the hot springs every year.

The hot springs, close to Nakhal fort, are one of the favorite places with hot water always flowing from the wadi and channeled into the falaj systems for irrigation of the surrounding areas.
